Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo internal review, and if they meet the basic requirements, they are sent to experts in the field for review. The decision to publish, amend, or reject is based on the reviewer's report/recommendation. If the reviewer(s) consider manuscripts unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.
Manuscripts sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. The file should be the latest file sent by the editorial staff to see the revision process. Revised manuscripts can be sent to the editorial office through the Online Submission Interface. Manuscripts returned more than three months late will be treated as new submissions.
Following the initial review, the editors accept, reject, or request revisions. If a revision is needed, the editor may request additional commentary from one or both reviewers to clarify the required revisions and will then forward a revision request to the author. Following revision, the editor may decide to publish, although after major revisions,S a paper will generally be sent for at least one further review. After acceptance, editorial assistants handle proofreading and formatting.
One of the journal's most important goals is to minimize the time from submission to publication. With the advantages of the open-access format and our editorial board's strong commitment to this goal, we aim to achieve significantly faster time-to-publication.
